NATO chief: Russia violates Georgia's "territorial integrity"

BRUSSELS, Belgium (AP) - NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffersays Russia has violated Georgia's "territorial integrity" in SouthOssetia using excessive force.
The NATO chief urges Russia and Georgia to agree to an "immediatecease-fire," says NATO spokeswoman Carmen Romero.
De Hoop Scheffer is calling for talks to restore Georgia's control overits breakaway province.Romero says De Hoop Scheffer is concerned about "the disproportionateuse of force," an apparent reference to Russian artillery shelling andair attacks on Georgian troops.
